PRIDE BUSINESS FORUM

Pride Business Forum is a platform for intercorporate discussions about equality at workplace. It started with a conference by the same name held since 2011 within the Prague Pride summer festival. In 2017 the conference was moved to the month of June and was expanded to include various activities for the member companies, such as theme-workshops and networking evenings.
Among those who spoke at the Pride Business Forum were the former British Petroleum chief executive Lord Browne, the outstanding BBC economy desk moderator Evan Davis, the Intellectual Property Licensing IBM Managing Director Claudia Brind-Woody or the psychologist and management coach and Officer of the Order of the British Empire, John Amaechi.
In 2017 the member companies signed for the first time the Pride Business Forum Memorandum, which endorses supporting LGBT diversity and inclusion at the workplace, and the implementation of the principles of equality. Among the signatories there are Vodafone ČR, Hilton Hotel Prague, IBM, RWS Moravia, Johnson&Johnson, Accenture, Allen & Overy, Amazon, ADP, British Council, Brown Forman, CitiBank, Clearstream Operations, Déhora ČR, Emblem Hotel, ExxonMobil, innogy, Microsoft, Ogilvy, SAP ČR, Prague Pride a Byznys pro společnost.
Starting June 2018, the Pride Business Forum platform in cooperation with the bePROUD Prizes sponsors the LGBT Friendly Employer award. IN 2019, LGBT Workplace Equality Hero was introduced.
