We are sorry to inform you that the discussion had to be canceled due to tight work schedule of some of the mayors.
The Visegrad Four is an alliance of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. At present, the capitals of these four states are headed by mayors, who are liberal in their policies, unlike the central governments of their countries. Their scope also includes the LGBT + agenda.
The discussion will be attended by:
Zdeněk Hřib – Mayor of Prague (Pirates)
Gergely Karácsony – Mayor of Budapest (Dialogue for Hungary)
Rafał Trzaskowski – Mayor of Warsaw (Civic Platform)
Matúš Vallo – Mayor of Bratislava (Progressive Slovakia)
The mayors will discuss together what the city can do for LGBT + residents, what it is like to pursue a progressive policy in a conservative environment, and what they themselves want to change in their city so that LGBT + people can live better.
The discussion is moderated by Adéla Horáková, lawyer of the We Are Fair initiative. The language of communication is only English, without Czech translation.
ATTENTION! The time of and the people in the debate may change.
